In order to minimise risks to our staff during the COVID-19 pandemic we asked every staff member at Yeovil Hospital to undertake a risk-assessment.
This assessment was completed via an online tool and enabled staff to declare any health conditions or issues not already known to the Trust which may increase the risks posed to them by COVID-19. The Trust uses the information shared to make changes which minimise these risks as far as possible; this could include changing the working environment, working patterns, and arranging use of particular PPE.
The latest figures for our self-assessments are below:
- Percentage of all staff who have completed a risk-assessment: 92%
- Percentage of BAME* staff who have completed a risk assessment: 93%
We are continuing to support the remaining staff to complete a risk-assessment.
