Following on from our telephone conversation and offer of a video appointment to commence CPAP, we would like to give you further information on what to expect from your next three appointments. In a separate email you will receive a PDF trust information guide on what you will need to do prior to your video calls and what to expect from them.
Your first video appointment is to explain the process and will last approximately 15 minutes. You will receive an email with the link to join the video call. During this appointment we will talk through collecting your equipment and which type of mask would be most suitable for you. We will also arrange a date and time to collect the equipment, and the equipment loan agreement forms that we will be asking you to sign. We will also cover data storage and consent, and how to download and use the optional data transfer app (DreamMapper) to share your data with us.
It will also give you the opportunity to discuss any concerns and for us to answer any questions you may have.
Your second video appointment is for CPAP set up. We allow an hour for this appointment so there is time for us to explain everything and for you to ask questions. Please have all of your equipment laid out ready before joining the video call.
Your third appointment is a five week follow up appointment and this will be via telephone. We will call you at or around your scheduled appointment time. We will discuss how you feel your CPAP trial has gone, try to answer any questions or concerns you may have, review your data with you and discuss your options.
