Members of the public who want to know more about their local hospital are invited to come along to Yeovil Hospital’s public engagement event and Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 8 September at Yeovil Manor Hotel.
This event is an opportunity to hear more about the hospital’s performance and other exciting developments, direct from the Trust’s senior management team.
It will feature a number of stands providing details about the new multi-storey car park and estates projects, dementia services, stroke services, organ donation, clinical research, Yeovil Hospital Charity, League of Friends, new electronic health record system, patient experience, volunteers, hospital governors and Symphony Healthcare Services.
In addition, clinical staff will be on-hand to offer mini health-checks and take blood pressures.
The event will start at 2.30pm with light refreshments available. Members of the public can drop-in anytime between 2.30pm and 5.30pm. The formal meeting will take place at 4.30pm and will close by 5.30pm.
