International Cycle42 4 Cancer
On Sunday 13th September, a fundraising cycle for the Breast Cancer Unit Appeal and The Beacon Centre will take place from the Firehouse in Curry Rivel, unless you are in one of our international locations listed below. This event has been organised by Iain and Ken, who are keen to support both charities.
For this years event, there are three options of cycle distances, a family friendly route up to 15 miles a 42 mile or 62mile (100k). The latter two routes will take around 4-5 hours.
In guidance with the social distancing guidelines, you will be asked to stagger your start time in order to reduce the numbers. Please select your start time below, but note that the start times within each slot will be staggered depending on numbers.
Along the course there will be 3 refreshment stations and the course will cover mostly country lanes. There will be arrows and marshals helping to guide you along the course. Any main road sections will be heavily marshalled to ensure your safety.
Registration is £30 per person, £50 per couple and £60 per family. This fee will include a free t-shirt for the event. Please register before the 31st August to be able to claim your free t-shirt. Registrations will be available on the day, but this will not include a t-shirt. On completion of the cycle there will be pizza’s available which have been pre-ordered on the completion of the registration form.
Please note ALL participants will be expected to bring a cycle helmet and their own water bottles for this cycle.
Details from this registration form will be shared with Iain and Ken who are the main organisers.
